A brute pummeled an elderly man and woman as they walked in Manhattan last week, cops said on Tuesday.

The attacker approached the 70-year-old man and 69-year-old woman at East 112th Street and Park Avenue in East Harlem on Saturday — then punched the man in the mouth and stomach, and the woman on her head and in the face, cops said.

Both were treated for minor injuries at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital and have since been released. The suspect is described as about 6-foot-2, in his 30s, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Cops did not know the relationship between the two victims — but said neither knew their attacker. The motive for the attack was also unknown Tuesday morning.

The beating marks the latest in a string of heartless attacks on old folks across the city — including a 75-year-old woman who was robbed and shoved to the ground on a 6 train last week.
Last month, a teen thug randomly clobbered 91-year-old Juan Llorens with a cane in Inwood.
