Elle King’s now estranged husband allegedly threatened to kill her a month before they split.

The Los Angeles-based singer’s husband Andrew Ferguson, who she secretly married in 2016, allegedly grabbed her by the throat and said “I’m going to f–king kill you,” law enforcement sources told TMZ.

The incident occurred on April 23 at their L.A. home and King, 27, decided not to press charges.

Police discovered scratches on the singer’s neck and marks on her arm, TMZ reports.

Ferguson was arrested and booked for domestic violence and told authorities that he threw his wife to stop her from hitting her head on the wall, according to the gossip site.

The “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer and daughter of actor Rob Schneider, told cops that things had gotten out of hand while they were partying and she declined to press charges.

On Tuesday, King took to Instagram to share the news of their split, revealing they married just three weeks after meeting and had planned to marry in a big ceremony on April 17, but that fell through because they decided to split.

“My heart is broken. My soul aches. I am lost. He is the greatest love of my life. He is my best friend. As we separate, and attempt to find our footing through life, all I can hope for us is that we both find happiness within ourselves,” she wrote, adding, “Everybody thought I lost my mind and I did.”

She asked for space as the two come to terms with the split.
