Cops are investigating the death of a toddler found lifeless in a crib in his Greenwich Village apartment Thursday morning.

Police found 21-month-old Reid Smith unconscious in his family’s apartment on E. 10th St. about 8:50 a.m., authorities said.

The boy’s mother called 911 when she checked on him and realized he wasn’t breathing, cops said.

Medics rushed him to Beth Israel Hospital, where he died.

There were no visible signs of trauma on Reid and police do not suspect foul play. An autopsy will determine how he died, cops said.
